GLC decks are used in the unique Gym leader Challenge format. This format doesn’t allow for multi prize Pokémon or rule box Pokémon to be used. Also apart from basic energy you are only allowed 1 of any card to make up your 60 card deck, However, you can use Pokemon Cards from any set that has existed. These decks are constructed using Official Pokémon TCG cards, However due to the nature of the decks and such old cards being used some cards aren’t in Near mint/pack fresh condition.
